THE FIGHT CONTINUES
Matthew 22:36-39 says, ““Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
According to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, this is our duty on Earth.
The question for us is what does that look like? In our everyday lives whether you are an elected official, teacher, carpenter, musician, middle-school student, homemaker, retired, a doctor etc., John 14:15 and 1 John 5:3 tells us plainly, how we love God is through obeying His commandments.
And after His first Commandment to love Him which means obey Him, our next duty is to love our neighbor as yourself.
The last seven years of life and most recently my time as Chairwoman of Michigan Republican Party, have opened my eyes to the depravity of mankind like never before.
I see now why humans deserve Hell.
Witnessing first hand, or talking to others of their experience not just in Michigan, but America and globally, of how wicked people can truly be.
The lost souls of this world, are destroying the lives of others.
Our obedience to God requires that we fight back, but what does that look like?
Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Expose the evil in our state and nation
Lawfully fight evil in the respective domains God has placed us in.
Empower others to do the same
The Bible tells us how this story is going to end, are we as Christians attempting to fight the inevitable?
The Bible tells exactly what we are to do. Read the Parable of the Ten Minas (Luke 19:11-27)
We are commanded to occupy until the return of Christ. We are to be good stewards of the blessings God has given us great and large for the Glory of God, to advance His Kingdom, love God, love our fellow man, while the inevitable unfolds.
My focus is to confront the wickedness in government and our culture.
We are commanded to confront evil in our society (Ezekiel 9, Romans 1:32), and to protect our children from a tyrannical government (Isiah 39).
And that is exactly what I am going to do. Will you join me?
